I'll put them on again to see if they dig--but my sense was that they were looser around my ankles so I had plenty of room to move--at first I was worried too much room, because this shaft height is new to me. I've walked around the house quite a bit in them, but I haven't walked around outside yet or worn them all day at work or anything like that. Would you like to see a picture of them on a real person? If so, I'll try to take one tomorrow! They were not comfortable on me or my clients. The high and not super soft shafts cut into shins as you walked, for example. So I didn't mention them. </p> <p>They looked sharp, though! Sleek Western shape. And <b>sand dollar</b> finds them comfy - so there you go. However, they are similar to my Frye Sasha Chelsea boots. I think the style is awesome. They work brilliantly with boot cuts but also skinnies, cropped, dresses and skirts. If they are comfy I bet you would find the style well. With sizing a really pointy toe I did go up 1/2 size but again don’t know how these run.
