I haven’t tried any of these on yet, don’t know which are best for walking. But looks and even initial impressions can be deceiving. My Born Oxfords have very thin soles, but I can and do walk in them all day long. They are so light, I scarcely notice they are there; my feet never hurt in them. Otoh, the green shoes here look and feel cushiony, but hurt my *spine* the first time I wore them and walked over a mile. My new Eccos (pic) have thin soles and I think they will go the distance.
