I'm guessing not. I think Angie disapproves of the kind of t-shirt you can get at the GAP or ON and the like. The kind that fades, looses it's shape, and yellows after one season.</p> <p>I have GAP scoop-neck tees in brown, black, heather green, red and magenta, and I still wear them quite a bit myself, just as you do - as a layering piece under jackets. I wouldn't necessarily wear them to work, but they seem perfect on the weekends or for more laid-back occasions.</p> <p> I would love to have better quality knit tops, but the ones I usually see that are recommended are not offered in petites. I really don't see much difference in quality of the knit used in the GAP tees versus the BR knit tops I wear. The BR ones simply have more interesting details, colors and patterns. But they wear out just as quickly as the GAP tops. Sometimes I don't want a fussy top - I just want something simple, with a scoop neck, and a solid color, to go under a jacket, like wearing a shell. </p> <p>Talbots has some nice stuff. I also do find it very useful in the warm weather, as long as I add a great necklace or scarf. This t-shirt has 11% lycra, so it doesn't look like a sporty t-shirt. </p> <p>It has a nice deep v-neck. I wear a cami under everything, so I didn't really notice if it was too deep. It does not cling to the bust, which I like, but it's still somewhat fitted. Just the right amount for me!</p> <p>I also bought one in black, natch! (There's a "buy one, get the second 50% off" deal right now.) </p>
