I wanted a grayed-out winter white or light stone color, but I figured I could do with an off-white that wasn't too yellow. Ideally it would go with a pair of glen-plaid wool wide-legged cuffed trousers I have, as well as serving as light neutral to go with just about anything. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>I tried an <a rel="nofollow" href="https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/allsaints-sweater-1">AllSaints sweater during Nordstrom Anniversary Sale</a> (Find #1)that was a neat style, but too yellowish for what I was after. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>Inspired by a post of LJP's, I came across an inexpensive Old Navy off-white pullover (Find #2) and bought it as a placeholder, and I've worn it while keeping an eye out for something that was closer to my goal: a little grayer and maybe with a little something unusual in the style.</div><div><br /></div><div>Recently I found a cashmere mock turtleneck at Everlane in a beautiful blue-green that goes perfectly with a pair of Lucky corduroys. (Find #3 and cords in Find #4.) I love the color and the style of it. This mock turtleneck is genius for someone like me with a shorter neck--the neck is shorter in the front! The sweater also came in a light gray, and I had it in my online shopping cart but thought better of it, because I already have a light gray mock turtleneck. Well, once I received the light green sweater and loved it, I decided to go back and revisit the other colors. I took a chance on the light gray. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>To my surprise, what they call "light heathered gray" is more of a stone color in real life. It is the exact color I was looking for to go with the glen plaid pants! Woohoo! <br /></div><div><br /></div><div>I'm wearing the new stone pullover today with a pair of stone pants a couple of shades darker. (Pic 1). You can see it with the glen plaid wool pants (pic 2) and with another recent purchase, a dark green puffer vest from Kit &amp; Ace, which also goes with the glen plaid pants. <br /></div><div>&nbsp;<br /></div><div>Also picked up my new glasses recently and am wearing those. <br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div></p>
