Also be sure to consider what kind of bag organization YOU find most convenient: width or depth. I just find it more pleasing to look at. Personally I always carry my bags like that using the longer shoulder strap over one shoulder. The little handles are cute but kind of useless IMO - for a bag that size, it's too heavy to carry in your hand or elbow if you are going to be holding it for very long, plus I find it annoying not to be able to use my hand.
