I bought a gel insert because the sole is thin, but the leather is soft, the heel is the perfect height, and the footbed is a good shape. I may have the heel re-bottomed because it is that super hard plastic that can sound a little cheesy. I had to have them.</p> <p>ETA: I also saw another attractive bootie online (photo 3), but it's pretty pricey. Probably better quality, but a month's worth of shopping budget.</p> <p>DH asked to see my new shoes, looked at these and said no, i mean your new ones, ha ha.
