I vote C too, Tam! And glad to hear they offered to fix it for free this time.

I had a few watches with colourful plastic bands in the past too, and in the end they always broke or wore out too fast. Plastic just isn't very durable-(

Option C is of course the most expensive. But also the most tempting. I don't want to be watchless for another 3.5 weeks!!!!

Oh that's great that they are able to fix it for you! Would have been far more tragic for it to be unwearable.

I honestly think that's a bit of a silly excuse. Not meant to be worn every day? Then the price should reflect that...

Anyway, I think option C sounds the best. A might mean you will constantly need to replace the band and have your wrists go naked. B means pushing your yellow watch off to the side--which is silly after all the trouble you went through to get it fixed! And it is a FAB watch so you will want to wear it as much as possible, right?

C is the obvious choice to me. You'll have two fabulous watches that you love, and if either of them ever breaks or gets damaged, you'll still have the other around for backup.

HTH!

Hi guys,

Just thought I'd keep you updated on my watch situation. I went into the Fossil store Tuesday, and they were suprisingly nice. Although they agreed the band was not under warranty, they said this once they would order in the new part to fix the band for free (otherwise it would have been $30). To replace the entire band would be $75. The only bummer is its going to be at least 4 weeks for the part to come in!!!

One thing is that they seemed to imply that a plastic watch like this wasn't tough enough to be worn as an everyday watch like I have been doing. Obviously it makes sense plastic isn't going to be as durable as stainless steel, but still I expected it would last more than one year.

Currently I'm watchless, and feeling a bit naked. I don't know whether to

a) hold out and wait for the part, and keep wearing my yellow watch as an everyday watch
b) cave and get a more sensible stainless steel one to wear for everyday
c) get another fun coloured one that I love, and alternate between the two, meaning I always have a backup watch to wear.

What do you think??
