My previous one was asymmetric zip shirt or sweater, with stretchy pencil skirt and boots. Now it's probably striped (or argyle or fair isle) sweater plus leather skirt and boots (Uggs or Docs) and swap the skirt out for Rag and Bone track pants for a casual day. My work outfit formula is wool straight leg pants, a sweater shell, a blazer, and a scarf. I have been planning my Ecchymosis Chic outfit, but until I get through a busy and stressful patch at work, the outfit formula stays.</p> <p>The pants are Theory, the shell is Vince, the jacket is Ba&amp;sh, the boots are Paul Green, and the scarf is Sabina Savage. The scarf brings in the blue for Angie’s gray, brown, and blue outfit formula, so this outfit is formulas all around.</p> <p>Do you wear particular outfit formulas when life gets busy and/or stressful? Do you have any tips for getting out of a sartorial formula rut even when life becomes chaotic? </p>
