In saying that in the early 2000s I wore a denim skirt on repeat for a few years. I love the color and print but the shape isn’t that great for me so I haven’t worn it yet. </p> <p>Today, I’m inspired to give it a try. </p> <p>I’m meeting a friend for drinks and tapas later, and it’s rainy and low 70s temps here in New Hampshire. </p> <p>I keep hearing about a denim maxi skirt trend, but that seems heavy for summer. So I got this trompe l’oeil version from Zara instead. </p> <p>The tea green-brown utility pants are a new Citizens accession that I thought would be for autumn but I like them and have been wearing them a lot. I don’t have a chartreuse piece so I pulled a highlighter yellow cable knit sweater as neck wear. </p> <p>And the last is white flare jeans and a white leather Theory jacket I bargained for in NYC … apparently the staff at their stores can just add extra discounts to sale merch:-)</p> <p>I am trying to decide which iteration I’ll go with. Thoughts welcome. </p>
