I would not buy anything that the sales associate would not let me try on. Just the fact that they will not let you try it on makes the SA and the item suspect. The SA is not the one who will pay the bill at the end of the month and she/ he is not the one who will wear the shoes. I would return the shoes ASAP unless you really liked them and they fit you great.
People with one noticeably larger foot need to fit the larger foot and end up putting heel inserts on the back of the heel of the shoe for the smaller foot.
You problably took a longer time than average trying on and deciding on shoes in the store. My impression is that the SA wanted the commission but did not want to bother with you any further. Poor customer service helps me decide to save my money.
I am not sure about the shoe stretching, you will not know the results until it's too late to exchange or return. It sounds to me like you need to research other brands and sizing before you commit to these shoes.
I hope you will soon find a pair that is right for you.

I agree with Rute that the shoe slipping off is very hard to fix.

I am a little concerned about your buying shoes from this store. It sounds a little shady! It is very strange not to be allowed to try the shoe in-store. Can you go elsewhere? Or order online?

I have found that when places offer only full sizes, sometimes I am just out of luck (I am a solid half size). Is there a place you can go to get more sizing options?

If you absolutely must buy a pair in a whole size, if the small ones aren't horribly small, you could see about taking them to a shoe repair place to have them stretched if they are leather.

Return! I never heart of a store that doesn't let the client to walk a bit with the shoe to Try it!
For my experience, when the shoe slips three is nothing you can do, no gel insoles, nothing

I tried the one for the bottom of the feet. To be honest, i actually don't like the one i bought. So i'm using the fitting as an excuse to change my heels
But they really don't fit me. Any suggestions on what size i should get.
P.S They don't sell any half-size shoes

When you say gel inserts do you mean the ones for the back of the heel or for the bottom of the foot? I would try both at once to try to take up as much room as possible. Good luck!

Hey! So i bought a pair of formal heels that are not too high. Probably only an inch or two. I bought the size 41. The salesperson wouldn't let me try walking in them for some reason i don't know. Once i got home, i tried walking in them and they keep coming off. I tried the gel inserts but to no use. I tried on size 40 in the store but it is tight on my feet. Especially because my left foot is slightly larger than my right. Pls help me!!
