Theresa, Here's the image she has of the ham pattern on the website. It's really not very precise. She said "Begin with two pieces of fabric this shape. Mine was about 6 inches wide at the bottom and 7 inches long."

She sewed them together most of the way around, flipped it inside out (so the stitching is on the inside), stuffed it really tight with scrap fabric, and finished sewing it up by hand. Let me know if you need any more directions, and if you make it, please let us know how it goes!

Oh Kate thank you so much, but I saw that ever so briefly before my virus protector blocked the site and told me it was evil :(

(Did anyone else have that problem?)

Would it be at all possible for someone to send me a screen shot of the pattern please?

I've been wanting a ham for my sewing for ages, but never even thought to make one myself!

Interesting tip. I hardly iron anymore. I use a steamer to smooth out my clothes. I find it so much easier to use a steamer than an iron. I only use the iron to press fabric for hems, or press the hem tape..

I sew, but I don't iron except to press fabric pre-sewing. I really need more skillz!

I came across a DIY Tailor's Ham Tutorial!

http://www.madebylex.com/2010/.....orial.html

It looks quite easy, and could turn many of us into ironing pros!

They were most recently discussed in Maya's ironing advice thread: http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ing-advice
