They’re made over time."</p> <p>Because the test really is TIME. There's a romantic pop song on the radio with the line "I will love you till you're 70". At 25, that would have been forever. Yeah, I chuckled a little at the final bits of the essay, but I think the whole idea can be summed up as: Stop worrying about your age, and stop worrying about how you might be perceived. </p> <p>But oh yeah, definitely don't buy jeans a size (or more) too small. I feel like I'm not living the same juggling act. But I do miss 8 hours of sleep - it isn't kids, stress, or work -- it's my damn bladder! The line "The existing literature treats the 40s as transitional. Victor Hugo supposedly called 40 “the old age of youth.”" -- I'm so on board with this. I feel like I am a young adult (okay, I know there are no adults) because those 50+ persons seem to look at us as youngsters as if&nbsp;they somehow have gained tremendous wisdom in the decades from 50 to 90.
