It's kind of a funny story. I was admiring her wares and she encouraged me to try them on. So I took off one tiny opal stud and put it on the table and put in an earring, and while I was admiring myself in the mirror, she talked to me and meanwhile, was absentmindedly picking lint off the table and flicking it into the long grasses behind her (this was an outdoor fair was in a big field). Before I could say anything she had picked up my tiny opal stud and tossed it into the grass!!!! We tried to find it but ended up just laughing together at the absurdity of it, and she gave me these earrings as a gift.I do really like them. Glad you do too. I've been more and more drawn to simple, contemporary shapes for earrings lately. (PS I didn't get upset about the opal. I kept the other one to use in my extra hole.
