Don't worry, Ana, the flat oxfords are worn and will be worn. (Maybe sometime when I see you.) Angie's point that heeled oxfords would look better on me is right of course. But the flat oxfords are something different to wear and a look I like. So I'll indulge myself.
Sad face that the cream jeans didn't work out. The more I think about it the more I think the WHBM ones would have been perfect for you. (I'm wearing mine today) Oh well, I'll keep an eye out.

That definitely makes sense, Patience, and I think it's a good point, too. No problem! Like I said, I personally liked the flat Oxfords with the outfit you put together. Wearing them with skirts and dresses balances the masculinity, I think.

Oh, I went to Saks yesterday, and they didn't have the cream Roxanne jeans, but they had a darker denim wash. I tried them on to see how they were and what size I would need to order. The back rise is really low.....I sat down and my bum crack almost showed. I think I will need to take a pass because I wanted to wear them with shorter jackets and things as well. Finding cream skinny jeans might be a multi-year project for me, hee hee. Thanks for suggesting them though, I'm still looking! I might get some clamdigger length cream or white non-denim pants as well, for Spring. Something like this:

http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Brows...../10492.jsp

Only, I would alter them to hit at the widest part of my calves, or just below. I think I'd go with heels, too.

Thanks, Ana, I have seen these online before. I've been thinking more about the whole oxford thing and have come to the conclusion that heeled oxfords and flat oxfords are just two completely different looks. I think for heeled oxfords I would actually want something a bit more feminine. If I'm going to go masculine, I'll just go all the way and go flat. Does this make sense? It makes me feel so special to get a thread for myself though.

I can't remember the conclusions you drew about the oxfords with tights and skirt (I liked it), but I remember Angie suggesting heeled oxfords. I found these on the Saks site:

http://www.saksfifthavenue.com.....8071080219

They look a bit more masculine, which I think is the look you were going for, but they have a nice heel, still. Anyway, they are out of 7.5, but they do have an 8. I know you can wear that size sometimes. Just FYI--I saw them and thought of you.
