I wear some of heels out each season.<br /> o Boot shapers<br /> o Regular polish for those that require it.<br /> o They all stand upright in my closet and do not get swapped out for the season. </p> <p>If you go to “Angie Outfits” on the side bar of the blog, you’ll see many of my beloved boots sported in action. The clamdiggers with boots post is another good one. </p> <p>More reasons why I have so many pairs of boots: </p> <p>o Some boots don’t come out to play that often because I want to keep them nice for special occasions (like my cream go go boots – one in a million).<br /> o Some are for more daring occasions (like my 20 eyelet WHITE Docs).<br /> o Others I fall out of love with every other season (like my brown, red and white embroidered boots).<br /> o Some boots are reserved for casual dog walking occasions (like Star Lings and classic Italian riding boots – so comfortable I could literally sleep in them).<br /> o Some come out for bad rainy, slushy and snowy weather (black 20 eyelet Docs)<br /> o Some are for Spring (apple green cowboy boots), while others are for Summer (flat cream scrunch boots).<br /> o Some are absolute work horses: Fryes, wedged SW’s, grey OTK flat riding boots, cream mid-calf boots with bows, and black biker booties.<br /> o Some should be passed on, but I can’t just yet because they are still fabulous and very comfortable – just beaten up (pointy cream patent ankle boots). </p> <p>Phew. When I interviewed for my job it was during a snow/slushy day. There I was, arriving in my suit, and black and white galoshes. You cannot miss these things. Well I never had time to change into my pumps, so I left them on. And at the end of the interview I apologized for the footwear and the president said "I was impressed that you had the guts to keep those boots on this whole time." Just got flat oxfords (after looking for a year) which was a gap that I wanted to fill. I have enough of almost everything though. Still looking for more comfy 8-hour pumps.
