Wow. This is going like a Boeing. Thank you for your personal attention, Carissa. Also, I like the way your product was dubbed “the Carissa shirt”. How’s that for fab branding.

You might need to do some creative thinking. Loads of gals want your shirt but aren’t quite well endowed enough. Is that right? I wear a Chantelle 32C (31 over the bust and 26 under bust) – not well endowed at all, which is why I passed the fit trail onto Nicole.

This is going to be VERY interesting. I can't wait to see how things work out.

Oh dear Shiny, I'll have to get back to you when I figure out how to measure my back, hehe.

I'm surprised that we have almost identical measurements yet are very different bra sizes.

I just measured sans bra and I am also 35.5 - I assume with bra 36. (bra brand area is 33).

Like Maya, the BR XS (petite for me) button down does not fit me. Not just chest, but my midsection too. The SP does - but the vertical proportions are all wrong.

Maya, now you have me curious - what is your measurement from shoulder seam to bottom of your bra band?

Carissa, when I am wearing a contour bra I'm about 36". Without any padding at all, 35.5".

I have a BR buttondown in an XS that fits everywhere but the bust. It will close only if I wear a non-padded bra, and even then it feels restricting.

Hi Carissa!

I'm actually average - between a 34B or a 32C. Tape measurement below bust is 33 inches. Waist is close to 27 inches (on a good day, 26). I wear between a 0p and 2p, depending on the cut.

My biggest issues:

- I'm only 5'0."

- I'm shortest from shoulder to armpit. This can be an issue for me even with petite tops.

- I have relatively wide shoulders. (Let's just say I am definetly NOT a pear with dainty shoulders and arms - I'm an hourglass verging on inverted triangle - by measurement I am technically an hourglass with a thick waist, but by appearance I think I can trend towards inverted triangle but not quite).

- It seems that most petite mfr's figure if you are in a 0p-2p, you have narrow shoulders and a small chest. I'm more curvy than that. I often find I'm between sizes - the 2p or even the 4p will fit right horizontally, but will be completely wrong vertically.

- I'm 43 and mother of two teens; my midsection is my trouble-zone and shirts that button and are more fittted can show off rolls in this area. :-(

I have tried on lots and lots of shirts like this - too many to count - and own only 2. One is cotton (Ann Taylor) and fits nice with no gaping or bulges etc. The other is a synthetic with a print so it's forgiving and the print fools the eye.

So... yes, I can find shirts like this that will fit okay: but I have to try on 20 shirts to find that one that fits, and then the quality is just not there, so I am settling.

I can tell by the pictures that your shirts have the quality I am looking for. I am tired of sacrificing quality for fit. While I am on a budget, I would entertain the idea of paying for a custom shirt, at this point.

P.s. I have sent your website link to two of my friends who are petite (not quite as petite as I am - 5'2-5'3" range) and very busty in the D and F range.

Hi Tarzy,

Thank you for taking part.

You too would be a ME (medium endowed), which technically doesn't exist yet. Really though your 38" bust is only 1/2 inch smaller than the MW. Let me do some thinking . . .

Are there button up shirts on the market that fit your bustline and the rest of you equally as well?

HI Carissa -

Your shirts look wonderful!

I'm a 38" bust, with a 32" waist, and usually wear a size 8. Where would I fit in your chart?

Hi Carissa, you are being wonderful for doing this.

I am actually not endowed at all, pretty small chested, but am finding recently that I am having troubles with button downs and blouses if they are supposed to be very fitted at the waist, there is two sizes difference between my waist and chest.

Anyway, I am usually a size 2, wear a 32C bra ( about 34-35 ") and have a 24" waist.

Hi Maya, thanks for the conversation.

I need your bust measurement in inches. So if you waist is 27", is your bustline near 33-35?

Hi Carissa. First I wanted to say it's very sweet of you to offer us a discount. I don't think your prices are unreasonable, but I'm young and broke so it really helps.

Anyway, to answer your question: I usually wear a size 2 or 4, bra size 32DD, and my waist measurement is 27". Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks, Carissa! I guess I'm just "average" (not even endowed), but I think these shirts you're doing are fantastic, and really filling a void in the current market.

How cool for you guys, Shiny and Maya! Let us know how it works out, will you?

Hi girls,

Will you please be so kind as to give your bust & waist measurements and your general dress size, i.e. 2, 4, 6, etc.? I've toyed with the idea of offering an E size - endowed, in addition to well endowed & really endowed.

if you feel awkward giving personals in the forum, i understand. you can email info@bratiquehelene.com.

Thanks so much.
