I think part if it is fabrication/availability. Plus, horizontal stripes have a nautical subtext, plaid a woodsy/hunter/Highlander one. I do have some pieces that cross over between seasons, I'm not rigid about it. I just responded to your interest in buying less on La Ped’s thread, lol. I really do have enough clothing, so am trying to be measured with the buying. That whole parade of tops I tried with the shorts &amp; skinnies came from my closet, except the cardigans and bell sleeve top (and I think I’m returning that top). When I get down to size, there are a pair of windowpane pants and a glen plaid dress in crazy colors waiting for me.
