That's promising to hear. </p> <p>I have a silver belt on which some of the silver is rubbing off, revealing tan underneath. I don't mind a bit of distressing but I don't like the silver and tan combo! So I figured I'd dye it gold (not sure whether I'll use my pale gold or old gold yet, as I have both) both to restore the metallic finish and so it'll blend better with the tan.
