Oh it's heavier than the Daniers you own. But you know what, I swear, you can see the heaviness in the way the leather wrinkles, hangs etc.&nbsp; It looks very quality to the eye and maybe I need an outdoor piece.&nbsp; Some of my friends wear theirs when we sit outside by outdoor fireplaces having our shocktails.&nbsp; But those girls are much more "edgy" than I am.&nbsp; This is such a classic though.</p> <p>How did it fit you through the middle, Suz? Again, I can't emphasize enough, for me this would be strictly an outerwear jacket -- I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing it indoors. It is much heavier weight than my two Danier jackets.&nbsp;</p> <p>But, having said that, the quality really is superb -- I've tried on a lot of Danier jackets and this was definitely one of the best. It is on sale for $349.&nbsp;</p> <p>I also tried two other jackets for comparison. I'll post a thread on those as soon as I'm able. Phone's almost out of batteries now so I can't add the pictures immediately. Here if is. This is a beautiful OUTDOOR weight jacket. I needed to size down in this one. It fit well. A bit snug zipped up. But that is with a heavy wool sweater. More later.
