Nor to shirt length (although I have been known to cut off too-tight-in-the-hip dresses to be tops). I think the all-over print/design deserves to be preserved. I don't wear mine often -- in fact, I think I've worn it a total of three times so far? -- but the happiness factor is high when I do, so I keep it. Not everything needs to be a workhorse, but I DO need to feel comfortable in it, and this dress does push the bounds of my comfort zone, especially when my weight is up.
