There has been a thread on this before that I can't find right now. The short answer is no, because then the "open new window" would be forced on everyone. With the current situation, people at least have the choice of new window or not. If I force all links to open in new windows then there is no user option (CMD click, shift click, etc.) to make it NOT do that.

People have described above how to open in new window on a Mac or PC. On the iPad you can hold your finger on the link for a little longer then a window will appear asking you if you want to open that link in a new window.

DressLover, no, that doesn't exist.

Chrome has a nifty little extension called snap links (lite). You just drag over links (no need to click) with right mouse button and it opens links in a new tab. Super handy!

Hmm interesting question. I right click to open a new tab but I use a netbook most of the time.

Oh, that does change the possibilities.

Is there a m.youlookfab.com variant for mobile browsing?

And thank you Greg, for all you do!

I look at YLF on my ipad, no possibility of apple-key funness, alas.

Or hold down the command (aka apple=clover=freeway) key when you click on a link to open it in a new tab.

Everyone will have a different opinion, so fwiw I'd rather not have links open in a new window since I can choose to do that myself, and I cannot choose to have links NOT open a new window.

If you right click on the link rather than left it pops up a menu which you can then use to choose open in new tab or window x

Hi Greg! Nice site!

The one issue that bugs me, however, is that when I click a link inside the forum or on Angie's posts, it automatically takes me to that page instead of starting a new window. I have my browser default set to start a new page, but on YLF, it always just replaces the YLF page. Is this intentional?

I'll go through my settings again, as well. I am using Google Chrome in OSX.
