Those look gorgeous on you. The zipper detail is really neat. I also like a super high shaft, although as Angie commented on my other post, it tends to make the calf fit tricky. Yours seem to fit perfectly though. Sadly I'm pretty sure my calves are too wide to fit in this style when it's totally zipped up. How did my legs get so darn short????</p> <p> </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/for-diana-zip-choo-review#post-1389183 Tue, 04 Nov 2014 01:54:59 +0000 bj1111 1389183@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>finally got to photograph these boots.</p> <p>i got the pewter zips rather than the gold because i prefer low contrast. &nbsp;the leather is dark chocolate not quite suede but has a very subtle knap, almost like split leather. &nbsp;the diameter of the shaft is supposedly 13 in, feels more generous&nbsp;but fits snugger because there is a leather pleat that is visible when you wear the zips down (panel 2). &nbsp;the shaft is 16" tall. &nbsp;you can see it come up to just under my kneecap. &nbsp;i like this look, but others may think it is too high. &nbsp;the shaft is wide at the ankle so will lead to a permanent slouchy look. &nbsp;these are casual boots, especially with the round toe. &nbsp;the back tab is a cute and really useless detail. &nbsp;the bottom zip does not move. &nbsp;the top zip does not unzip all the way (see panel 2 for the extent)--may or may not work if you have a super high arch and struggle with pull on boots. &nbsp;otoh i have a high arch and my foot just slides right in.</p> <p>it is comfortable, but size up at least 1/2 a size if you want to wear thick socks. &nbsp;i am consistently a 36.5 in their boots, 36 in their shoes. &nbsp;they run a smidge narrow especially if you don't size up.</p> <p>i bought these boots so i can wear them with the zips open...but never have because hubs calls this my captain morgan look.</p> <p>let me know if this is enough info. &nbsp;</p> <p> </p>
