Thanks Shannon. They changed my skincare line and I've been looking for something else. Everything I've tried has too much whatever in it and my skin protests loudly.

I really like simple, natural lines and the products you recommended are available locally.

Coco and Janet - I've been working the last couple of years to get away from all the chemicals and parabens in my skin care, make up and hair products. Just something I've become concerned about. This is one of the reasons I really like the Burt's Bees products - nothing in it I don't want on my skin.

Unfortunately their Radiance line does not include sunscreen so I do have to use my own before putting on the daydream. I'n not sure if there other products have sunscreen or not - I'll have to check that out. And yes, I love the smell of the daydream. It's not too strong (that's something I can't stand!) but is mild and smells fresh.

If you're at all interested, for make up I use Sally Hansen Naturals Inspired by Carmindy (Carmindy of What Not to Wear fame). They are natural products with no parabens. I switched to this line recently and am really happy with it and it's not expensive.

If i may piggyback on this...

My skin is also combination and prone to breakouts, and I am starting to be more vigilant about using products not tested on animals, so I'm in the market for a new daytime facial moisturizer. Shannon, does the Burts Bees have sunscreen? I do like their Radiance eye cream. Oh, and does it smell good? I'm really particular about products smelling nice!

Thank you Shannon! I missed this earlier. I am going to check out Burt's Bees! I am familiar with their lip sheen which I love, but never tried their skin care products. I have been using Olay Regenerist products also R.O.C. but not in a regular way. I collapse at the end of a night of restaurant work and (sigh) at best manage to run a tea tree wipe over my face but usually (more sighing) nothing gets done at all. I have a pretty good regime in the a.m. of cleansing and moisturizing with "Superstructure" Regenerist SPF 30. It feels like it takes my skin forever to absorb these products.

Hey CocoLion - sorry I'm so late responding to your question about my skincare regime (http://youlookfab.com/welookfa.....ta-pattern). First of all, thank you so much for the compliment. I was quite taken aback by your comment - very sweet of you.

I have pretty fussy facial skin, fluctuating between breaking out and dry patches and have found that for me, the less I do to it, the better. I switched to Burt's Bees natural facial products about two years ago and can honestly say, my skin has never been better. I have had one pimple since I switched! I use the Soap Bark & Chamomile deep cleaning cream and the Radiance day cream/night cream daily. Then once a week I use my grandmother's home made exfoliant which is 1 teaspoon sugar mixed with approx. 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil, mix it together and rub gently on your face, then rinse with warm water thoroughly. That's it. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive.
