It’s kind of a pale finish so I only use it as is when I’m out cycling . I admittedly don’t use sunscreen every day unless I’m going to be outside . Does it go on top of your tinted moisturizer? It’s got just enough tint to make your skin look better and to blur out redness and other random spots . I use Laura Mercier’s version ( a classic that is sold at Sephora ) and also enjoy the version from Maybelline I picked up at Shoppers DM one day . It’s like a very sheer foundation and you don’t need moisturizer under it at all . You have to guess at your shade but it worked out fine for me . I don’t use any powder products at all anymore . No powder blush or bronzer - all cream or liquid . I’m very freckled , like you , but also tan quite easily. I've been trying more and more of The Oridnary and NIOD lines. Thus far, I've been liking the Niacinamide 10% (Ordinary) and Copper Amino Isolate Serum (NIOD, just 4-5 small drops) in the morning with moisturizer and/or the Buffet peptides, and using one of the Ordinary's retinols at night. I've been meaning to find a non-tinted sunscreen, so will look for the SuperGoop. Thanks for the recommendation. LJP on "For Carla - skin care and makeup" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/for-carla---skin-care-and-makeup#post-2271337 Tue, 12 Jul 2022 15:46:55 +0000 LJP 2271337@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Ah - a topic dear to my heart  Here's what I do: am : a serum (usually Vit C from either Beauty Counter or now Sephora's own line) mixed with a drop or two of Drunk Elephant's Anti Pollution drops (basically a bronzer) ; then a basic moisturizer (Beauty Counter or The Ordinary) or tinted moisturizer (Maybelline or Laura Mercier) and an undereye Vit C cream (Ole Henrickson sample I'm using and like)  pm:   a serum or oil or VitC emulsion (depends on what I'm going for in terms of hydrating or treating ) from Province Apothecary (Canadian), The Ordinary or Beauty Counter; then a moisturizer (Beauty Counter when using the BC serum or The Ordinary when using the Prov A or Ordinary oils).  Undereye cream from Beauty Counter.   I also use an gua sha stone  once or twice a week, and a NuFace "machine" now and then.  I use SuperGoop facial sunscreen too, and a powder exfoliater from Province Apothecary once or twice a week . I use powder collagen daily in my coffee, and take Hair/Skin/Nail biotin gummies from Nature's Path . Makeup:  either a Seint cream makeup/bronzer/contour/blush /highlighter combo or just cream bronzer and blush if using tinted moisturizer;  an eyeshadow from Stila or Nars, powder or soft pencil eyeliner (trying to train myself to use less of this) , mascara and lipgloss (I wear a mask all day at work so lipstick or even gloss is useless).   Regarding the Beauty Counter line: I really like it and have had good luck with it, but it's more than I want to spend now so I'm using up what I have and moving over to The Ordinary.   I am all too aware that less is more as we age, and I try to be mindful of that and make sure I'm tweaking my makeup all the time .  I LOVE makeup though, so this is a challenge
