I settled on my blue suede ankle boots as my 'casual throw on with jeans and go' shoe this year. Had I not bought the blue boots, probably yes. But I also realized I have plenty of heels and was lacking in 1" to 2" closed toe shoe options. So the boots were the better choice for me either way.<br /> Ask me again in the fall or when they go on sale, though.
