Measuring my calves at 12” . . . I’d say Aquatalia has been a better fit, but the ones I’ve ordered have always been too tall in the shaft. The cognac is Franco Sarto, the black with the fabric back is Anne Klein (probably the best fit), and the black with lace-up back is Cole Haan (from the Nike Air days). Although I’ve diligently searched online for the right fit, to no avail, over the years, these are all boots I happened upon in consignment shops or Ross - maybe they were defective for running narrow in the calves or short in the shaft, but they worked perfectly for me! </p>
