Tulle, you are right. Whites and silver with gray hair is definitely more flattering than when I was younger with dark auburn hair. I can also wear black more successfully. I fine optic white the most unexpected and youthful on older women, especially as white jeans or a crisp shirt with popped collar. Ivory is more of a cliche so I try to avoid it or mix it with other whites. But my favorite white is slightly grey or pearl.
