You could wear them with tan, cream and bone for a low contrast look. On the contrary. If you are fair, they will read as a "near nude" that also reads as a colour. And as Deborah pointed out, on what colors you plan to wear them with - I can see them working with white, grey, yellow palette, perhaps navy. They are lovely and I would totally wear them, but perhaps not as my my only pair of sandals.
