Naot mary janes. Sandals in this brand are always too narrow for me so I was pleasantly surprised that these are super, super comfortable. I know the toes are scuffed but it’s not especially noticeable in real life and I’m a bit perplexed how that even happened because they have no wear at all on the soles or interior.</p> <p>2. Thierry Rabotin plum-colored suede flats, seemingly unworn, also quite comfortable (they seem kind of delicate so I don’t want to destroy them walking for miles, but I probably COULD). I am considering some “sneakerinas”, which I would say those fit with. As I wear my low profile Skechers the most of all my shoes, it would be nice to have something similar. I prefer refined shoes overall myself and am really happy I decided not to buy the chunkier white sandals I was considering last year. I realized I do have a few, and there are a few more I might like, though I really don't need shoes.</p> <p>Western boots--love mine, from Boot Barn, a Western store. Black, leather, and with ample silver hardware.</p> <p>Mesh shoes--I suppose a bit better in theory than in person. My feet are wide, and do not look nearly as elegant as the modeled photos. But I am very interested in sportiness/modernism as a general aesthetic, and I find mesh shoes to fit into that.</p> <p>Loafers--really would love some wilder ones--maybe metallic, maybe more streamlined. The sleeker silhouette. But these chunky black ones serve me well.</p> <p>Mary Janes, block heels, metallics--this recent secondhand find has all of that. I wanted a classic block heel, but I appreciate this funky, Nineties heel. Very Deeelite.</p> <p>Leopard print--I am not sure it ever goes out of fashion! I love it in footwear, and here is another recent secondhand find--stilletto leopard boots.</p> <p>And what I covet:</p> <p>These "ballet core" Zara jazz shoes.<br />Slouch boots--flat or heeled. Maybe one of each. I love the architecture.&nbsp;</p>
