For what it's worth over the warmer to cooling down months I wwaer mine with open toe wedge heel ankle boots, flat sandals, wedge heel sandals and flats with good coverage (ie not strappy things). I haven't tried my pointy toed place oxfords but will:). I find I prefer a heel with them for work and a flat is good for casual. My fave show choice for them tho us definite an ankle boot, either closed in or open toe.
