Totally. This looks wonderful now AND it is going to grow into the cut you want. I speak as one who has (a) sort of similar kind of Asian hair that you and Una have; and (b) a razored cut. Una is exactly right! (Una, I too cut my hair when I turned 40!). I find that all hair, but especially long hair, needs a few days to settle down into the cut. We talked about how I first chopped my hair and donated when I turned 40, and how it took several cuts to get the shorter version right. Long hair kind of goes into shock at being short, and needs to adjust just like our eyes do. This is a big step toward what you want for sure, and I think for many it would BE the right cut - but only you know that!
