Rachylou, the trick works best for jeans that used to fit. I do not undo the hair elastic when pulling them down. It works like an elastic waist. I was relieved that I could keep wearing some of my jeans. Today I am wearing a pair that are too big in the waist with the elastic hair band. So far so good. A longer sweater covers the waist band and I have a cotton tank under that. . The EF things stay put and do not seem to push up on the meter. I am also grateful that they can be worn pretty much year round. I ordered a couple of their Renew cropped wide legged bottoms for summer refreshers in white and tan linen and can’t wait to wear them. I hope soon to do a big try on session to determine which tops are just too short and summer waists that will not work and to put together some workable outfits. I was not able to locate any suspenders to try and want to try them out before ordering more. Rachylou, I loop the scrunchy thing through the buttonhole, then pull the loop over the button. A nice SA gave me the idea that she says works well to hold up pants on her skinny little boy. It works for me if the waistline is low enough and will stay below the meter. These are covered elastic bands from the hair accessories at Target.<br /> Bijou, and Mainelady, I expect warm weather will be better for dressing and allow bare legs. My biggest problem now is keeping legs warm. Today we are expecting 7-16 inches of new snow. DH says it is very slick out with ice layered under the snow. Yesterday it was 75F. Today the high is predicted to be in the low 20’sF.<br /> ETA a couple of WIWs. The first outfit (1-3) shows a small bag I bought at a consignment shop to hold my meter and glucose tablets for lows. This one can also hold my phone. I usually also need a big bag for other stuff. This one is taupe. Shoes are EF with a grippy platform sole. Sweater is alpaca. Lots of texture going on.<br /> The second outfit (5/6) is black and navy with a NYDJ top in a print with those colors.
