Hi Maya, I haven't been feeling well so sorry for the late reply !!!!

I am going to our local CVS tomorrow, so I will check out the official name and let you know. It is not on the CVS or drugstore.com sites.

Wow, that is VERY interesting! Is it just called shoe wool or does it have another name? What brand is it? I must look for it!

I'm with Maya -- my FL shoes are also very roomy, causing my heel to lift right out of them. I would not recommend sizing up.

The other problem I have with my shoes (probably not an issue with boots) is that the sole is made of a lovely non-slip material, but the heel is not. If I happen to land heel first, I can really go skidding.

It is a wad of light wool that you put in the toe box if your shoes are too big. It is literally something to stuff your shoes with instead of wearing thick socks. Our local CVS sells it now !

Shoe wool? That intrigues me. What does that mean?

Hi Maya, thanks. I also just learned that you can buy shoe wool to get a snugger fit. Who knew ????

I have a pair of FL pumps which are huge...too huge for me to actually wear, unfortunately. But with boots I think it's less important. You'll probably be wearing socks so I'd err on the side of big. If all else fails, you can always pad them up with thick socks.

I am considering a couple of Fly London boots.

How is the fit ? Should I size up, since there are no half sizes ?
