Yesterdays outfit was the long over long silhouette. I am a curvy girl and I always worry about making myself visually bigger than I am. Also I think someplace somewhere I heard on some fashion show that long sweaters make you look bigger and shorten you.

At one point with yesterdays outfit I took the sweater and tied it at my waist while at work.

What were you wearing yesterday that was way out of your comfort zone?

Glad you're feeling better about your wardrobe today, Frannie! I didn't have a chance to comment on yesterday's look, but experimenting and pushing those comfort zones is important for us to keep growing. I think it was a great experiment actually, and that cardigan is a beautiful and dramatic piece. The dress is also quite dramatic, so to pair them both together certainly requires some confidence. Definitely give that cardigan some other styling tries (with slim below, with volume below, with a mix below), some will speak to you more than others. Also, a cheeky cropped jacket would look great with that dress. Finding your drama happy level can take a while, keep at it :)

Today's outfit looks more conventionally flattering, and your infectious smile makes it even better. We all need our safe places, and this one looks lovely on you ^^ Great cheerful floral jacket! I also really like the nude esperadille sandals with this, dresses the blazer and skirt down just the right amount. Plus they match your pretty pup, what's not to love about that!

yesterday I had I think a YLF crises and hated my wardrobe and wanted to toss it all out. I think this was because yesterday's outfit was a siloutte stretch for me. Also everyone else makes it look so easy and looks so fab. I'm sure in the life of a YLFer this is a typical progression.

Today I'm back to a look i know and wear often - skirt and topper.

Still working on pics and my 4 legged baby decided to see what it was all about today.
