I am also very picky about them. Too often for me the straps are too big so they go flying off. Sometimes going down a half size helps but of course then the footbed can be too short. I also find if the strap comes higher up on the side of the foot then they don't flop as bad. I could never wear regular ones as yes, they were too floppy and the constant foot sliding felt uncomfortable and unsupported. Plus I have bony narrow feet and the straps were always way too loose. With these I could go on long walks and they were amazingly comfortable yet secure. It’s a little expensive for a flip flop, but I’m on summer 3 or 4. I have only worn Indian made brands (Bata, Gliders etc.) which seem to be more secure. It makes sense because several (including me when I lived there) wear flip-flops exclusively. </p> <p>So I want to hear recommendations from committed flip-flop wearers about brands they like for frequent use. </p>
