I judge sandals and mules more by where my heel is than by the toes. I cringe seeing women walking around with their heels hanging off the back of their sandals; it doesn't fit! I had a pair of sandals that fit just like this, and the size up looked and felt too big. The salesperson (at Nordstrom) and I decided that the smaller size was the better option, even though my big toe was just a smidgen over the footbed (just like on your right foot). So I kept the smaller pair and wore it to pieces. But I don’t like a lot of room in front of my toes either.
