I thought I might want to wear my long skirt that I haven't worn again so far. But it will be cold and I will have to walk outside in this outfit, so I'm not going to wear the heels I wore to the event. But can I even wear it with the flat shoes like this or is it a faux pas? I'd probably wear black patterned hose under the skirt to keep warm. I'm not sure about the top either. I don't have to wear the blazer, I thought I might buy some kind of dressy cropped pullover to wear with it if you give me the okay on the shoes. I need some new tops anyway and I'd look for something that would work with my other skirts too. </p> <p>What do you think? Is a variation on this okay or should I wear something completely different? My mum is going to wear one of her suits with a dressy top. </p>
