This was a last minute purchase to use up my points to furiously extricate myself from a life time of Shoe mint bondage. Not to go into a long explanation of how I got involved in this ridiculous shoe club but let's just say, I'm really not an idiot (mostly) I do have a college degree! What is really annoying, is that I never expected these dumb espidralles to work - they were just the cheapest thing to use up the points. They turned out to be great. They are super comfortable and cute too. I have the black and they look much better IRL (the beige stitching doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like it does in the photo). I've tried a half -dozen different brands on, and every single one of them is way too loose in the heel. Walk right out of them. Toe box is fine , but all of this soft leather , canvas etc doesn't make for a great fitting flat. Has anyone found one that fits snugly and stays on? I have totally average feet - maybe a tad narrow but nothing dramatic. I don't see an insole helping , but maybe I'm wrong . </p>
