Lol. I can't for the life of me find ready-made that really fit. In any case, I think the pants look quite fine with the untucked top with rounded hem. An interesting thing about the top - it doesn't cover up hips/things so much as provide a smooth visual transition. When I was in high school 20+ years ago, plus options were limited and you couldn't be too picky about being fashionable. Now that there are so many options, it is still hard for me to get past the, "it fits, so it must work for me" mindset. </p> <p>I think I was also drawn to the moto because I usually wear all black for work, so that would be a good topper for Texas winters for work. However, now that I am being more objective as a result of the great feedback, I can see that it's just ok. It never gets very cold here in Texas, so a vest plus a sweater is pretty much all I'd need many days, so I could wear it a fair bit. I never noticed the sweater on the website, as the colors are much richer in person.</p> <p>Florence - I'd love to see your tattoos sometime! I've tried that style top and am drawn to it, but I sometimes they seem to have the opposite effect of feeling like there are arrows pointing at my hips, if that makes any sense at all.</p> <p>Sarah - they are supposed to be ankle length pants, but maybe they just look like they are too short rather than intentional? My 4'10" mother hems all her pants too short and it drives me nuts, so I try to avoid that myself. I'm thinking about treating myself for my birthday next month, so will probably buy a few things, but not all. I'm going to try to leave my feelings out of this post for now, honesty welcome!</p> <p>1/2)tunic sweater, fall colorblock, leather trim on sleeve, buttons on shoulders and zipper detail near left leg</p> <p>3) leather vest for fun, not sure if I'd really wear it like this</p> <p>4/5) clever SA went to the jewelry counter and came back with this necklace for me to try with the sweater</p> <p>6/7) sweater moto, could work for casual or over my black/white work wear</p> <p>8) crepe pants. I struggle with pants so much! This is a horribly unflattering picture, but demonstrates my biggest fit issue - saddlebags! After significant weightless and some regain, I'm funny-shaped and my right thigh really sticks out. I also have short legs (I'm 5'6"), so sometimes when I wear tops to cover that problem, my legs can look overly stumpy. These fit my waist, whereas I often get gapping. I would not wear these with a shorter top, most likely.</p> <p>9) tuxedo-ish top, could wear to work or casual</p> <p>10) pants and top, side-view</p> <p>My style is fairly classic with a slight rocker vibe.
