				<description>&#060;p&#062;I hate exercising. It's not because I am lazy, it's because I get easily bored with repetitive activities. I wish I was good at sports (like basketball or football) but I have a phobia for flying balls (I REALLY get scared of balls) so I guess that's not an option. Besides, my coordination skills are really, really bad. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I walk a lot but I don't consider it exercising, just commuting from place to place (no cars in my life, only public transport). &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I have recently started swimming in the small pool we have at home (shared with other families). I have decided that if I am able to stick to it, I will join a gym in September/October, because I do think it would be a great sport for me (light on the body joints, good for the back, relaxing and not timed). For some reason I get anxious over chronometers, so I prefer to decide how many times I will swim from one side to the other than timing myself. And I don't get bored! I am also learning to swim well in the process, and so far I am progressing (even if slowly).

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I personally prefer workout DVDs.&#038;nbsp; I find working out in the comfort of my home to be a lot easier and can get a workout in on my own time.&#038;nbsp; I have recently been doing the&#060;span&#062;&#060;a href=&#034;http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/focus-t25-workout.do&#034; rel=&#034;nofollow&#034;&#062; Focus T25&#060;/a&#062; and love that I can get a high intensity workout in 25 minutes. It is a fairly new product by the makers of Insanity and P90X. &#038;nbsp;I love working out in the mornings before work because it gives me energy throughout the workday.&#038;nbsp; I usually would go to the gym for an hour before work, but I don’t like waking up earlier than I have to so getting a 25 minute workout in fits perfect in my schedule. After work if I have time I like to do yoga which helps me release any bad energy I had from the day and work on my flexibility. &#060;/span&#062;&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Running, natch! Followed closely by biking and swimming.  I supplement with weight training for power and strength, and lots of core work.  &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I used to do a lot of cross country skiing (skate mostly, but classic too) and snowboarding, but about 3 years ago I started to have a lot of trouble with the cold.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;The most fun I ever had was at an adult beginner ballet class.  The teacher was kind of snooty, and I wasn't very good, but I loved the program.  I'd love to take social dance classes with DH and learn all the old style couple dances.  He travels too much now, but it is on our bucket list!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Heavy weights to maintain or improve muscle mass and strength, stave off Alzheimer's,&#038;nbsp;protect my bones and keep my metabolism going; high-intensity exercise including plyo stuff, HIIT, and the like,&#038;nbsp;in the hope of&#038;nbsp;staving off strokes (lots of good&#038;nbsp;blood flow to the brain); walking at 3.8mph&#038;nbsp;for relaxation&#038;nbsp;and shopping (oops!); swimming for deep relaxation (I do&#038;nbsp;mindfulness meditation while I swim);&#038;nbsp;yoga for deep relaxation, strength and balance; functional conditioning for everything; stretching to maintain flexibility as I get older;&#038;nbsp;and a variety of other stuff to cover all the bases. For me,&#038;nbsp;variety is the key to avoid injury and boredom. I have a vast library of exercise DVDs -- I prefer American DVDs over British ones (I haven't found tough enough&#038;nbsp;British ones yet). I love&#038;nbsp;Cathe, Rushfit, Tracy Anderson, Steve Cotter, lots of Beachbody DVDs, etc etc etc. I have&#038;nbsp;a treadmill, an exercise bike and assorted other equipment. I prefer working out at home.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I never would have thought I'd say this until a couple of years ago, but running is one of my favorite forms of exercise now. I prefer it in the cold weather. Yes, you are more likely to see me out running in 15 degree weather than 85!&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I've always enjoyed walking and hiking, and I need to get back into bicycling. I love swimming and have been upping my distance in the last few weeks so I'm now swimming at least a half mile every time I swim (and most recently a mile every other day). I also like yoga but I've gotten away from it recently.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I don't care much for any kind of machinery workout. I hate the dreadmill but will use it it weather is really bad. Not a big fan of weights either unless I'm working with a trainer.&#038;nbsp;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Usually I like to run, but not right now.  I have a recumbant exercise bike I've been using lately and going for walks.  When not pregnant, I like the exercise bike on days when the weather isn't cooperating for a run.  I'll go for the occasional walk or bike ride with the kids for a change of pace.  I like to swim but I've never been able to do it consistently.  I'm much better at exercise that just requires me to go outside - if I have to go somewhere like a gym, I tend to not do it.
