I like them a little voluminous under a boyfriend blazer - not that I wear graphic T's! But that's the look I like best.

ahhh I think you guys have just made me realise why I think a slightly relaxed fit is better!

In our winters, I could get away with say, jeans and graphic T, by lunch time, and only need cardi for mornings and late afternoons. With the exception of maybe one week of the year LOL

So, in theory, there's not a whole lot of layering needed and I'm always a bit cautious about wearing anything TOOO fitted on top with jeans etc because I think it emphasises my pear shape.

I guess a lot of it comes down to shape as well...

Thanks for your input - I'm hoping to get a chance to look around for a few wintery inspirations tomorrow.

Mine are slightly voluminous. I love the balance and relaxed vibe they give when paired with skinnies. I have both standard and tunic length in a loose fit.

The tighter the better! LOL

Rose - my answer to that is that I size down, knowing it will stretch where it needs to ;-)

Seriously though, I find that it is mostly trial and error. Sometimes you can look at it on the hanger and see that it has "shape" but most of the time you have to just try it out.

I am glad to have caught this discussion-- I found a gorgeous snug graphic T for 7$ at TJ Maxx when Jenny and I had our local YLF meet-up. It is the best fitting T I have ever had on.. and it has made me wonder how/where do you all find snug Ts..? Is it just trial and error or do you look for a style description that specifies "fitted"?

Yet another vote for a more fitted look. Since they're not meant to serve as standalone items, they'll almost always have something worn over top. Snug fits make that layering process much easier.

A vote for fitted. You can easily have boxy ones taken in at the sides if the shoulders and arm area fits well.

I have some of each. The snug ones are for layering under and the looser ones are for layering over.

I prefer mine on the snug side, since I am typically layering them under a jacket or vest. I'm not sure what the rule is, though (if there is one!).

This might sound silly, but are graphic tee's meant to be a slightly looser fit rather than a snug fit?

I'm envisaging them slightly relaxed...

Thanks
