Great to hear and welcome to the club! I guess I may be slightly stompier than you, lol. Love mine so much though. I have found that as they loosen up I'm able to put thin inserts to add a wee bit of cushion, so there IS hope.

I just wanted to update that I found the shoes in my normal size on Jildor. They shipped them promptly, and they were packaged well (looked like the box had never been opened, as each shoe was stuffed and individually wrapped). The shoes fit right out of the box, and were comfortable enough to wear out immediately, which I did.

The forefoot is a wee bit snug, but nothing that a few wears won't alleviate, and certainly not enough to make me hesitate to wear them (and unfortunately even slight discomfort is enough to make me avoid shoes at this point, so these really are comfy). I have higher volume, slightly wide feet, though I can usually buy and wear average width shoes. The tags on the inside of the tongue were a bit scratchy, but I will never wear these without socks or tights, so that won't be an issue. The leather is sooooo soft, and the shoes seem well constructed. They are flat-flat and have NO support whatsoever. That isn't an issue for me, and I actually really like shoes like this, but it might not be ideal for everyone.

Overall, I am very happy and will be happy to order more Ash shoes in the future if the styles are what I want. And maybe they will just need to loosen up a little, but there is no jingle in these whatsoever. The square rings LOOK like they should move, and I can forcibly move them if I try, but otherwise they don't move at all. I am delighted with this purchase!

Awesome! You will be jingling with these a bit. My taupe ones are this style.

Ann, it is your post I want to believe because I REALLY want the shoes! Regardless, the posts here inspired me to really, really dig into the internet to see if I could find them anywhere where they would not be final sale, and I finally did. It will cost $5 to ship them here and $6 to ship them back if they don't work out, but I am willing to pay $11 for the opportunity to see if these will work for me.

I work in a school, and while people commonly don't wear sneaks except on Fridays, I think these are different enough from athletic shoes to pass muster, especially because I tend to dress up a little more than average anyway.

Thanks for the fit reviews, and I'll let you know if they work out!

I have 3 pair of flat Ashs in 36, which is my standard size and I find them all to be extremely comfortable even though I have wide feet. The one pair of wedges in 37 is, as Lisa indicated, quite uncomfortable for a lot of walking.

Oh, no, this makes me rethink the purchase I was going to make! The style of the shoe looks perfect, and I cannot find anything else like it, but I don't want to buy a shoe (especially since it isn't a cheap one) that isn't comfortable. It is available in my normal size, but not in a half size up. I am afraid a full size up would be too big. Maybe it is just too risky a purchase.

I had a pair of the wedges and ended up returning them after wearing them once . I could feel every buckle , seam etc through the top of my foot and it was brutal . The toe box is very shallow I think - and I have med- narrow fine -boned feet . Crazy , and disappointed but glad they gave me my money back . They felt ok at the store obviously but were not wearable .

I have some sneaks in my regular EU size 40 (I am generally a U.S. Size 9.5 in boots or a 9 in sandals). They fit and I wear them a lot. But I wouldn't mind them being a little bigger. They are a little snug on my right foot (which is the bigger foot). Nothing that would stop me wearing them but I can't wear thicker socks or an inner sole. So I would think about sizing up half a size, if that's possible.

Hi Echo, I own a pair of their typical wedge sneakers from a couple of seasons ago and found that they are almost a half-size too small - they were tight though still wearable. I also own a pair of suede booties from the same brand. I sized up half a size and the fit was very good. So, I would say they run a little small.

I am considering buying a pair of flat Ash sneaks. I have seen some reviews of other similar styles from Ash that said they run small, but I cannot find reviews of the ones I want to purchase. I am just wondering if anyone owns any style of Ash shoes and whether they run, on average, big or small or TTS. Because these are a past season style, I cannot return them, so I want to be sure before I buy!
