I have big thighs compared to my butt and waist, and I have to size up at least one size. Sizing up more than one size usually means a very spendy alteration at the waist (latest quote to alter a size 32 down to a size 30 was $70). It hasn't been worth it yet...but hopefully your hip to thigh to waist ratio is a little more straight than mine, and you should be fine sizing up just ONE size. (-:

I wear a 24 in 7FAM and COH, a 25 in Paige and J Brand. I have an athletic build with bigger legs and backside and a normal to big waist. I am very straight from the front but curvy in the back. Paige has fabric in the waist so it does not stretch as much as others. I like the skyline cut better than the Hidden Hills. Usually if the fabric is thinner it will stretch more. Hope this helps.

Janet, you just confirmed my suspicion that I would need at least a 30 in these, so thank you. Good to hear that you like the fit on the 30's too.

I am going to order a 30 and a 31 to compare. I know I definitely don't want them to be painted-on tight, and I have a secret hope (probably fruitless) that the larger size will also be longer. =P

I can wear 29s in most other jean brands, but I usually need 30s in Paige -- I do have some Skyline skinnies and I like them in a 30. I have one pair that are 29s and I can't wear them on certain days of the month, and they only get worn with long tops!

I just bought a pair of the skyline skinnies. I haven't tried Paige jeans before, but I got a 24, the same size I wear in 7's, Citizens, and AG's. They are very soft and feel a bit more like leggings than my other skinnies, which I actually liked.

p.s. Love the print on those jeans!

Hmm, sounds like I'll probably have to size up. I've never been able to fit into my normal 29 in Paige, so was going to try 30. But now am thinking I might order a 31 as well to compare. In any case, two pairs gets me free shipping, although I'll have to schlep to bloomies to return.

Hrm, I will have to go look at what style my Paige skinnies are. I usually wear a 26-27, and these are size 30, but I got them pretty baggy because I wanted a more boyish fit. They can go on and off without unbuttoning, but they don't add a ton of bulk.

I hope that didn't add to the confusion...

ETA: These fit a lot like my size 28 J. Crew matchsticks, so based on that they maybe run 2 sizes small? o_0

I tried the Skyline straight in my regular Paige size (32), and they fit me like jeggings. Serious vacuum suction action. For reference, I have large thighs and 17" calves, so YMMV.

These teal Liberty x Paige skinnies are on sale at Bloomies. The fit is Skyline Skinny Peg. Does anyone have any experience with this cut? Does it run small like many other Paige styles? I do not have the best luck with Paige jeans in general but have not tried any on in at least a year though. The Hidden Hills style that everyone loves does not work at all on me (gaping waist, super tight thighs).
