I'm a rectangle also. I look for shirts or jackets that create waist definition, slight cinching or darts, curved seams. You can also create a more defined waist with belts over cardigans or shirts. </p> <p>I'm small chested too so I like to add some volume on top. I'm not a fan of ruffles or frills, so I look for details like soft folds or layers to add some shape. Soft drapey shirts or button down woven shirts seem to look and feel better on me than tight scoopnecks. </p> <p>Do you wear skinny jeans? Meanwhile, let me give you an idea of how I dress. I'm also a rectangle, 5'3", 44 y.o. Like you, have narrow calves, strong legs, not much of a waist. However, I do have a largish chest.
