I try to go 5-6 times a year after I've gotten a postcard about new arrivals or when they've marked things down.</p> <p>I find jewelry and shoes there pretty reliably. </p> <p>Some things are manufactured specially for their stores and they're alright but not necessarily better than other discounters. It's the odds and ends from the stores where the real treasures are located.</p> <p>I got some Perricone tinted moisturizer there and really liked it so I often go through the make-up area. It's so nice when it happens though. </p> <p>I've been to the regular nordstrom store lots of times and walked out empty handed. Yet I've been to the big thrift shop around the corner and had tons of luck. You just never know! I got an apple-green Halogen short-sleeved jacket; a cream stretchy surplice top from Classiques Entier; and the Born flower sandals that Angie has written about, in silver. The Halogen jacket needs to be nipped in a little at the waist, but that's true of anything that fits in the shoulder. </p> <p>Pictures to follow after alterations... </p>
