I was energized by thinking of the increasing opportunities to dress up in this job. :-)</p> <p>The last years I've been working solo on completing my doctoral thesis and had too few opportunities to dress up. It's been a long and bumpy road and I'm still not finished, but I'm slowly getting there. The prospects of a temporary position is fueling my motivation in the final stages, and it's good news in many other ways, too, but it is not all set yet. *knock on wood* I know the field, the department and uni system, but it's been a long time since I was in charge of first year students. </p> <p>Thanks to YLF I can share my enthusiasm for any occation to get dressed without being regarded as completely shallow. lol </p>
