The earrings are not heavy, or not too heavy for me. I say that as someone whose ears were permanently changed by heavy 80s earrings! So they are not as light as Nickel and Suede (which are, after all, made of SUEDE) but they are definitely not as heavy as they appear. They have substance but are not oppressive.&nbsp;</p> <p>Got the hair chopped again two weeks ago. Short pixie is just easiest for me to deal with. I had a longer front for a while but it was driving me insane. They are a nice, chunky but not overpowering drop earring for me and will be an "everyday" earring. I tend to wear one or two pairs (usually a chunky stud) to the exclusion of almost anything else for my regular days, especially in winter. (In summer I switch up the earrings more often.) These ones are not too long to wear if I am also wearing a scarf, so they are useful.&nbsp; </p>
