If the calf is snug it won't pull up all the way. So people whose calves are the wrong shape for the shoe will struggle. On me, the calf fit is just on the edge.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Lisa</b>, there's ruching in a kind of starburst pattern on the front and also some on the back. So IRL instead of "mismatched pattern" you see "overall movement" or texture. There are visible folds in the fabric on the torso.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Dana</b>, yes -- this dress is a fall/winter weight for me, not summer, so I will wear hose or tights most of the time with it. And probably booties rather than sandals. I just happened to be wearing those for try on. I plan to try it with the footwear below.&nbsp;</p> <p>I didn't buy the Nordstrom periwinkle hoodie.
