It does take us awhile to adjust to a new style, but I'm guessing the transition will be swift for you, you look amazing in these. I have tricky feet; a bad bunion makes dressing my feet in style very challenging. I usually need a bigger toe box. I see these are available in store locally so I will have to give them a go. I wonder about tight and hose color with the olive, but suppose you would wear the same colors as you would with the black. I appreciate the feedback, it sure helps to share these success stories. I actually think all the colours I've seen them in could work well, depending on your wardrobe. Krishnidoux's pics aren't available any more, but she was wearing her olive ones very easily; the olive blended well with just about anything. It looked surprisingly versatile. I worried that they might feel a bit "witchy" in the black. I don't find that with a dress, but I did feel a little bit that way when I wore them with skinnies. Then again, that was the first time I had worn them, so my eye may simply have needed to adjust. For reference, my feet are regular width (I think) at the front, with a narrow heel. Some reviews said they fit narrow but I didn't find that to be the case. I could easily wear them all day. Something I really like in them—they are extremely lightweight. So you don't feel as if you are wearing BOOTS, if you know what I mean. I think they will look good with black sheer or patterned hose (my favorite BTW) and may work with nude hose too. Try them on in different outfits and take pictures - this is what helped me a lot. If you are not sure post pictures here! As for the skirt length: knee length or above is the easiest to pair with booties but they may work with longer skirts too. You never know until you try! Yay for the new camera angle - you might also check if your camera has tungsten (artificial lighting) setting, it's usually shown with the little lightbulb image. Not that anything is wrong with the photos you posted, but such setting takes away yellowish sheen that photos taken indoors sometimes have.
