Too often I don't follow my first instinct when I really should. So I congratulate you on listening to those "meh" responses! I think the plan to keep just the black EF dress is a good one as it should work really well for your plan to layer. And it looks like you might have some real winners with this next round. I've already sent one box back and I have another huge one almost ready to go, just waiting on some comparisons with things that are still pending. Laura, that is interesting about the anorak.  In the pick it looks downright sheer.  I'll hold my thumbs for now.  I did notice the shawl collar is the same jacket as the boucle.  I was tempted by the boucle, but wasn't sure about the colors.  The black one sealed the deal for me.  I hope I like the fit, it didn't come in petite. I got the grey Cole Haan oxfords yesterday.  They are so light-weight and very, very comfortable.  I hope they work for you! I felt the same way about the Caslon blazers this year and I know some other members of the forum agreed. The anorak is an interesting piece - surprisingly heavy when I looked at in in store but also well made. I hope it works for you. FYI, the black Halogen shawl collar jacket is the same cut as the boucle jacket several of us bought, but in one fabric. I'm tempted but I already have one black knit blazer plus the boucle one (I got the black/tan) so I probably don't need it. This morning I'm still not keen on most of my items and I've started pulling together the return.  However, I am able to now see the insights these *not quite right* items are bringing to me. -Munro booties are too big and a little short in my regular size and wide.  I'm glad I reordered in a half size up regular width.  I can't wait to get them. -I'm reordering the Calson long cozy jacket in black instead of oatmeal.  Oatmeal was so lovely online, but I won't really wear it. -I hated the Calson knit blazers.  I was just meh on the black one, but the olive sealed it for me.  Blah! -The EF dress is still on the table.  I only have the cobblestone in straight size and I think I like it for layering, but I'm considering only keeping the black when it arrives.  I don't think I love it so much to duplicate. -The bag...it's going back.  Didn't even open the package.  That was a sales goggles purchase that I didn't have any need for. -Rain boots.  In cream they look gigantic on my feet. So, that all made room for a few orders this morning. I traded out the oatmeal calson cozy jacket for black. I picked up the Cole Haan oxford sneakers in gray.  I was torn between black and gray.  My toes are craving comfy shoes right now. I'm trying a different knit black jacket, the halogen shawl collar. I also grabbed this rayon anorak.  I have an anorak I like to wear as a layer for work, but it is canvas and a bit heavy/bulky for work.  I like that this one looks like more of a layering piece than outerwear. Onward!
